What is SCT livelink?
Livelink is used to datalog a vehicle, review previous data logs, or create a config for on-device data logging. Configs are custom built PID list’s that can be loaded to a device so that the user can datalog those parameters without the use of a laptop.

How do I make my own SCT tunes?
- Download the SCT Updater Software.
- Plug the device into the computer and open the SCT Device Updater.

- That will open a new window, where you are able to select your Desktop on the left hand side of the new window.
Does the SCT x4 come with preloaded tunes?
They both have preloaded SCT tunes, but you have to update them via computer anyhow before you tune truck the first time.

How to log idle time in SCT Livelink?
Start the car and log idle for 30 seconds. Then hold the car at 1500 RPM for 15 seconds, 2000 RPM for 15 seconds, 2500 RPM for 15 seconds and 3000 RPM for 15 seconds. This can be done in one log. Unless directed otherwise, get the car warmed up first.
