The eighth Velika’s Voice asks the TERA community their preferred voice chat software to use while gaming. We’ve included a set of popular applications as well as an in-game option.
How to chat in TERA PS4?
There’s voice chat when you are in a party/raid. Simply plug in your mic to your PS4 controller and you should be able to talk to other players in your party. There’s a mic icon above your health bar that indicates whether your mic is on or not.

How do you start a party in TERA?
If you click on the red door icon under your compass, you’ll open up the instance matching menu. You can check out a list of dungeons you’re able to do. A party will consist of 5 people, one will be a tank, one a healer, and the rest will be DPS.
How do you chat in TERA?
TERA has Chat function with multiple channels. Chat window is located by default in lower left corner. There are few predefined tabs, that have prefined channels. Player may customize chat window by adding tabs, changing their names and selecting which channels appear in tabs.
Can you use mouse and keyboard on TERA PS4?
The only thing you can is to use the keyboard for the in-game chat in most of the console mmorpgs, but other than that, no. Neither the Xbox One or PS4 have any games that offer mouse and keyboard support.
How do you emote in TERA?
Emotes are accessible from Social menu->Emotes and can be added to speedbar. It’s also possible to type commands to chat command line. Emotes trigger when typing keyword to say chat.
Can you party up in TERA?
Parties are automatically formed when entering dungeon with Instance Matching system. Leaving party with command /drop also exits you from dungeon. Raid in TERA is formed from parties (maximum of 6 parties and 30 players). Raid leader may move players to different parties.
