Loughrigg Fell Height & Difficulty The climb to the fell top is approximately 360m, if you take in the whole six mile loop the total elevation gained is 434m. The whole walk took us just under three hours (largely because we loved stopping and taking in the views).

Where do you park to walk Loughrigg Fell?
There is free car parking near Tarn Foot Farm on the south side of the fell near Loughrigg Tarn. Additional parking is available along the road at Skelwith Bridge to the south too. There are several long stay car parks in Ambleside, Rydal and Grasmere.
Where do I park for sale fell?
A small parking area at Brumston Bridge, centrally, being the key. There are a few spaces along the verge between the hamlet of Routenbeck and the church nearing the top of the rise at the end of the footpath on to the fell.
