How long do you need at Scitech?
Generally, we recommend allowing two and three hours, depending on which experiences you choose to explore. Your ticket includes entry to all our regular shows and exhibitions. Your Scitech ticket is valid all day, so you can leave and re-enter as many times as you’d like.
Do you have to book to go to Scitech?
Bookings are valid for your Scitech Lab workshop only (link to Experiences). If you’d like to visit the Science Centre before or after your program, you will need to purchase an Admission ticket.

Scitech has something for kids of all ages everyday. Here are some more of the activities in the main section of Scitech – some of these are permanent, however some activities are regularly changed so there is something new if you visit every few months. Put on a puppet show and push buttons to see what happens!

Can you bring food to Scitech?
Yes! Tables and chairs are available in the City Views eating area, where there is also a water fountain. We highly encourage all of our visitors to consider the environment and use reusable food containers and water bottles where possible.

What age is good for Scitech?
Scitech is geared for people of all ages. We also host ‘adults only’ nights throughout the year on a Saturday night which is for 18+ only and we provide a bar and music – its a great night out.

Our world-class Planetarium in Perth features a rotating schedule of events consisting of: a professionally produced full-dome show, updated routinely. That’s not all, the Planetarium is also home to regular after-hours and special events. • Visitors under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
