How long does K rendering last?
A – K Rend products are backed up with our BBA Certificates where the product is applied as per the correct specification and application guidelines, it is for 30 years.
How many coats does K Rend have?
ONE COAT / FINISH COAT (See also under Spray Application). After setting, 2mm is scraped off for a 16mm finish. If the material is being used in a two coat application the Finish Coat is applied over a K Rend Base Coat to line level, using a darby or straight edge, to a minimum thickness of 10 – 12mm.
Can you one coat K Rend?
K Rend LW1 is a lightweight, one coat render, which can be applied directly onto a wide range of masonry and external wall insulation (EWI) substrates.
