Where do you park for Causey Pike?
The walk starts on the Newlands pass road, just above Uzzicar Farm. Here there is a large informal parking area handily placed at the end of the mine track. This walk takes you to the top of the following hills: Scar Crags, Rowling End, and Causey Pike; and includes 2 Wainwrights, 3 Birketts, 2 Hewitts, and 2 Nuttalls.

If I were to pick the hardest route up out of the two mountains it would easily be hiking along Striding Edge up (or down) from Helvellyn.

Quite a climb but not too hard for a beginner with ambition! The views down to Tarn Hows are brilliant and well worth the effort. We even walked down the side to the tarn but getting back up is much harder!
